Have a question for dochawk? See answers at askdochawk!

I am frequently asked for opinions and explanations on a wide variety of topics. I have also frequently noted that press coverage and commentators have missed key issues about which I have an important insight. At times, I have written and submitted op-ed pieces on these, but this is an awkward and time consuming process without an established name as a talking head.

I have finally established dochawk.org as a way of disseminating them. Columns will regularly cover the legal, economic, and statistical issues of the day, with less frequent columns on spiritual issues, and the occasional whimsical issue.

Dr. Hawkins is a statistician, antitrust attorney, and Assistant Professor of Economics at the Pennsylvania State University.
